Dr Trent Lincoln and Dr Andrew Higgins are registered specialist oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Each holds both a medical and a dental degree, and a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr Lincoln founded the practice in 2018 after graduating in Medicine with Honours from Monash, completing Dentistry at the University of Queensland and finishing the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program. Full arch rehabilitation is his particular focus, with advanced zygomatic, nasal and pterygoid implant training in Hong Kong and Texas.
Dr Higgins joined and bought into the practice in 2020 and now co-owns it with Dr Lincoln. He completed medicine in Melbourne, dentistry at James Cook University with an academic prize, and four years of advanced surgical training across Brisbane's major hospitals and Royal Darwin. He was awarded the Robert M Cook Medal for the highest fellowship mark in Australia and New Zealand in 2019.
Failing or missing teeth replaced with a fixed full arch, usually in a single day and usually without bone grafting. Payment plans available, and eligible patients may access early release of super.

The practice sits within the Buderim Private Hospital precinct, surrounded by rainforest and five minutes from Mooloolaba, with on-site parking and lift access.

No, you're welcome to see us without a referral. However, if you have a referral from your general dentist or GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on your consultation. Our team is more than happy to assist with arranging a referral if needed.
In Australia, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon (OMS) is a registered specialist who has completed both a medical and a dental degree followed by a four year surgical training program and fellowship examination. Both of our surgeons hold this specialist qualification and are trained to manage the full scope of surgery of the mouth, jaws and face, including hospital based surgery under general anaesthetic.
Yes. Depending on your case you can be treated under local anaesthetic or IV sedation in our Buderim rooms, or under general anaesthetic in an accredited private hospital theatre with a specialist anaesthetist.
Yes. Consultations are held at our Buderim rooms, and patients travel to us from Gympie, the northern Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and regional Queensland. Hervey Bay and Fraser Coast patients can have surgery at St Stephen's Private Hospital in Urraween.
You receive a written, itemised treatment plan after your consultation, before you commit to anything. Payment plans are available, health fund rebates may apply, and for full arch treatment eligible patients may apply to the ATO for early release of super.
